Why Chatbots Are Effective
in this chapter, we're going to talk about messenger marketing which is how to drive leads using a chat bot. Here's the data you need to know about why this is affected. So chatbots get eight times higher open rates than email. They get 4-5 times better engagement rates. And the cost of acquisition for buying a lead is 123 times cheaper. It's very similar to email where you can do drip campaigns email blast. It's just a different platform. The reason why it works is because the average person gets over 100 emails per day. But the average Facebook user only has 375 friends. So email. Yes, there's a platform where you can sell but it's become very busy. I get some emails from businesses I've never even heard of before. I don't know how they got my email but somewhere along the line maybe I gave it to them, maybe they script a site to get it or bought it from someone else. They've acquired my email and they're sending me emails. It's become very spammy and a lot of people feel this way wh...
ere they get tons of emails that don't really apply to them and aren't relevant to them. Messenger is much more clean. Again, the average Facebook user 375 friends so they're not getting too many new messages each day. Certainly they're not getting more than 100. They might only be getting a few. So if you acquire their contact and Messenger there's a lot higher chance you're going to see your message and respond to it. Now we're going to walk you through some things like setup, how to set up your campaigns, how to do things like a comment guard. But remember a client strategy is what we define as their goals. Content and targeting and strategy is channel independent. So I know this particular chapter we're talking about chat about marketing or messenger marketing, you can take the same content and targeting combos that your client might have an email because maybe they're using email campaigns and can transfer them over to messenger. So just because these different platforms have different nuances, different intricacies, the strategy stays the same. The goal you're trying to accomplish is the same and messages that is an email. Take the content that's working an email. If they have a blast campaign they use, if they have a drip campaign, if they have legion, if they have elliptical, they're giving away video training, a promo code they're using, that's working for them. We've talked about using facebook as an amplification engine. Think of all of social media as an amplification engine where if something's working over here, you want to use it everywhere, just like a musician with your greatest hits content that's working in one platform we want to reuse instead of always trying to recreate the wheel instead of you going in and having to write up new campaigns, right up a new drip campaign, reuse what your client might already have in their existing email campaigns, right, Just transfer it over. We're going to dive into the weeds. Now, these next few lessons will all be switching over to the laptop where we're gonna be doing some screen share videos, taking a step by step, how to set this up. I know a chatbots sounds kind of intimidating. You're not trying to build a I hear, you're not building the next series or the next Alexa. It's actually really simple and to drive even some new leads just to acquire some new context is the easiest thing you can do is what we call a comment guard. But let's start at the beginning with access and walk you through the whole process. Some of these next lessons.
