Creative Best Practices

best practices for creative in general. You want to make sure that the images tell a unique perspective about your client's brand or business. You want to focus on details that are exclusive to the business and not just show generic images out of context. Another important thing is a photography itself and the visuals and how you choose to frame or balance those visuals within the post. So subtle details, like the rule of thirds or making sure that the photo is straight or showing some kind of symmetry in the visual itself will make the image look a lot more polished. You also always want to make sure that there's a key focal point in the visual too. Pay attention to what you want the viewer to remember about the image and make sure that their attention is focused right on that point. As you can see here in this example on the left, the photos on the left are very well aligned and you're looking at a very balanced composition. Whereas another image different perspective of just people ...

in a coffee shop is way too busy to know exactly where we should be looking in that picture. Most importantly, you want to inspire emotion and so showing people interacting with each other, how they're responding to each other, how they're interacting with that your client's product or service or brand are also highly important as well expressions. A twinkle in someone's eye. Perhaps the the the angle of their arm or or the way that they are touching or holding a specific product that your client owns are all very key to making sure that the visual is emotionally engaging. Then there are just some general technical best practices as well. From a lighting and a texture perspective, you want to make sure all of that is well composed and high resolution, even though instagram is only on your mobile device, having the highest possible resolution of an image or a visual will make a big difference in the quality of the photo that you're putting out there for people to see. Lighting is a big part of that to having the right type of lighting to enhance the focal point of that image will be critical to make sure that people are engaging with it in the right way. From a post production perspective, overly filtering images is highly discouraged. There's a fine line between tweaking the image in some way editing the photo so that it's it's it still looks balanced and well composed, overly filtering so that it looks almost cold or or unreal. And so you want to make sure that you're being very careful and diligent in the post production and editing process of any image that you're putting out there
