In-App Campaigns Summary
now that you know how to promote a post. Let's talk a little bit about the benefits and the drawbacks of doing it this way. The great thing about this is as you saw, it's super easy to do and you were able to hopefully follow along with me and it took less than two minutes which is great. However, promoting posts only works really well if you only want to be running one ad at one time, if you wanted to test content and have multiple versions of the ad, you can't do that in the app if you wanted to test against different target audiences, that's also not available by promoting a post. The worst part is when it comes to reporting on your promoted post, you can only get analytics in the app itself. And so when you're creating a report for a client, you really don't want to be sending them screenshots. It looks somewhat unprofessional. And so instead what I like to do is use facebook ads Manager to create more robust campaigns through ads manager, you can take a look at various target audi...
ences and be able to serve that same ad against different types of people to see how that performs. You also have a lot more flexibility when it comes to budgeting and placement and when it comes to reporting and optimization, there's no other tool better than ads Manager to track and optimize your ad campaigns across the platforms. So follow along with me as we dive into ads Manager in the next chapter
