Lightroom Mobile: Overview
1 So Lightroom Mobile is pretty much like Lightroom 2 on our laptop. 3 It's the new version of Lightroom, 4 looks the same whether you're on the web, 5 whether you're on your computer, 6 or whether you're in a mobile device. 7 It's really, really, really similar. 8 So if I'm looking at a image here and I click on that image, 9 then you'll see over on the right-hand side 10 that I've got all the adjustments, I have the crop, 11 I have the retouching tool, masking tool. 12 I have all of these options here 13 just like I do inside of Lightroom on my laptop. 14 And it's the same raw processing engine 15 that's inside of Lightroom Classic as well, 16 and Camera Raw for that matter if you're in Photoshop. 17 So this is a very familiar environment, 18 so I don't need to really go over too much for you 19 in a way of a tour, 20 but I do want to just notate a few things. 21 Number one, up here at the top 22 is all of the Lightroom album information. 23 So this you could consider your catalog ...
information. 24 So you can go to all photos here. 25 You can go to the images that you've edited here, 26 images that are not edited here, Lightroom camera photos. 27 So it's just setting things up based on different uses, 28 or you can look for people or deleted images. 29 And by the way, as you delete images inside of Lightroom, 30 Lightroom Mobile, or on Lightroom Web, 31 when you delete those images, it stores them for a while. 32 So you have 30 days, I think it is, 33 to undelete those images. 34 So that's kind of a perk.

After giving up on Adobe long time ago (for apparent reasons). I decided to go back with my recent coming back to photography. I’ve been a heavy Photoshop user but never Lightroom’s. Since I signed up I was straggling to decide between the “new” Lightroom and Lightroom Classic. It was obvious LRC is more versatile but I loved the modern, cleaner look of the Lr. At the end I am a visual person :). Jared’s workshop made my decision easier and cleared up the question I asked Google repeatedly about managing Adobe cloud storage. A very comprehensive, easy to understand and fun course. Can’t wait to rearrange my 20+ years photo library. Thank you, Jared!

Jared Platt is the best educator when it comes to explaining how and when to use each program in the Lightroom ecosystem. He knows and explains extremely well the pros, cons, and tricks of using LrC, Lr, & LrMobile together. Most people teach each independently. Jared teaches in depth knowledge of how they interact --amazing!
