Update CC 2018 - Close Gaps in Premiere Pro CC 2018
One very simple addition to premiere pro 2018 is the ability to close multiple gaps at once. So up until now, if you have a sequence like this for example, you can click in between a gap and press the delete button on your keyboard to delete that gap between those clips. But now you can actually select multiple gaps or clips around those gaps and go up to sequence close gap and it will actually close all those gaps, wow that is not that attractive, looking for my face but that is okay. And so that's just a cool thing that I'm going to love when I'm editing interviews for example and I'm cutting out all the bad answers or the pauses in between and then all I have to do is select all the selects that I've made and then go up to sequence close gap to shrink down and bring all of those answers together. That's just the first thing that pops into my mind when that would be handy, but I'm sure there's lots of other things too. The other thing you'll notice is if you go up to sequence, you ha...
ve this go to gap and you have these keyboard shortcuts as well and you can go to the next gap in that sequence, go to the previous gap and that I guess will be beneficial to some people. So um I think that's going to be a cool thing for people but mostly I think closing down the all the gaps is going to be a feature that I'm going to use a lot. Cool, thanks for watching And we'll see you in another premiere pro tutorial.
