Adobe Preferences
So now we're gonna move right along and talk about preferences real quick. Just you know where they exist and how to get him in on a Mac. It's under photo shop preferences on a PC. It's under edit. Preferences will be way down at the bottom of things, so I don't think there's too much. You really need to change just out of the box. But, um, one that is handy that's been bothering me lately is this export clipboard option. So once you're in your preferences, there's different categories over here of preferences and then all kinds of things. So just know, like, if there's something that's really bugging you, you might be able to change it. There's probably a preference for that. This export clipboard option. I like to turn that off because, um, otherwise, if you ever copy and paste things and we would have a lot of large documents today with ah high rez cameras, um, you'll get warning messages all the time that, say, your clipboards to big export every time you try to leave Photoshopped,...
and it's just super irritating, so you can turn that off. You do, However, I think you need to do it while you don't have any open documents. Otherwise, the preference will only apply to that document. So keep that in mind. But you might wanna check that. You can also change your units. Um, if we go under units and rulers, you know whether you want your rulers to be millimeters, centimeters, pixels, inches, whatever. You can change that here. But there's other ways to do that. Change that as well. There's some performance things that you can tweak. Here's where it keeps track of your history, states. So in that history panel, it keeps track of the last 50 things that you've done. You can change this more or less, but just know that fifties like a good amount to much more than that, you're probably just gonna waste memory and performance on your computer. So just things to know your color settings can be found under the edit menu, um, under edit color settings. So I'm not gonna get into all of this. I think you're probably fine with defaults, but if later you ever run into trouble or need to make changes, that's where you can do it

What an unbelievable teacher Khara is. I have wanted to learn photoshop forever but was intimidated, overwhelmed, then I watched this course. OMG I learnt so much, more then I imagined. I am so excited now to start using Photoshop, I can't wait to try out everything she taught us. With the skills we learnt over these two days I think this course provides everything I need to know to feel and more. She was outstanding, the absolute perfect teacher for someone who has never ever used Photoshop. Also great moderation by Kenna. Thank you for this awesome, amazing, wonderful course. I am sure anyone who watches this course will agree it is incredible. I couldn't recommend it more. This course was just Smurfy!

I would highly recommend Khara Plicanic's Practical Adobe Photoshop Basics. The name of the class, implies that the class is for beginners, but that's not exactly true. Most of us learn Photoshop by the features we need to know at any given time. As many will agree, there are a number of ways to get to the same end. I can only speak for myself, but... I would bet that many of us don't know all the strategies that are taught in this class! Check it out, I doubt you'd be disappointed! Khara brings a fun and relatable approach to everything she does. She is very entertaining, while being a superb instructor. Last, but not least... This class brings with it a ton of useful bonuses. Warm Regards, Roz Fruchtman aka @RozSpirations
