Gratitude Videos
So we just talked about one minute videos and the power of telling stories just like Pixar. They're great at telling stories, not how many millions of polygons they could render per second. And if you're short on ideas on what to talk about, think about the ritual you may have in the morning, maybe have a morning routine, maybe you'd like to meditate, maybe you'd like to pray, maybe you exercise and as part of that, maybe you have some kind of gratitude, maybe you're thankful for your Children, maybe you're thankful for the job that you have, Maybe you're thankful that you just got back from a vacation in Hawaii right? You can make one minute videos showing gratitude for things that you care about now. Get this if you're in that moment of gratitude, which is where you have the most power and you intersect that with your topic wheel, which are things that you care about, whether you're religious or spiritual, let's say you pray about certain people, maybe they're sick or maybe you're pr...
aying for the success of other people on your team or for your family members. Think about how you can add a layer of gratitude towards those particular topics and those people in your topic wheel. And I think you'll find whether you believe in sub consciousness or manifesting or the power of positive thinking or the secret that when you do that, your topic wheel will start to build itself and then if you really want to amplify it and throw fuel on the fire. You can use what we're calling the gifting process and this is my favorite thing to do on Fiverr. I'm not paid any money to to tell you this. But I thought I'd share this with you because it works so well and I'm not afraid that if you start using it, it's going to somehow like take away from me. And that is this when when I have a moment of gratitude, let's say I'm here's here's one particular task that I bought on Fiverr. It's cost me $26 because I had the guy here to speak your Message in the cartoon voice of your choosing. He'll actually write the message too. So he'll record the thing and I pay an extra whatever. $10 to have him like right the thing as well For $ I can make someone's day right? Because they did something nice to me and so I want to do it right away while it's still fresh in my mind while I'm still in the like even like I literally will keep my phone next to me in the shower so that when I have a moment of gratitude and like I should make a video or have them sing a song or have them do this whatever right then. That way I don't have to like try to remember it later and you know as well as I do that if you want to try to get something done later, you like never get around to it right, let's be honest. Here's another one networking. This is my friend Jason miller, I told you before where he did something nice for me, where he wrote a blog post about me and I wrote a blog post about him and he invited me to go speak at Berkeley to to teach a class. So I had I had a fiver making a gift for him. Here's another one. I was on the heather, Dobson Go Daddy show. Right, go Daddy has a weekly live stream in front of millions of their fans on social media and she interviewed me. So I had a bobblehead that was made and I had another song that was written about an article that was written about her and I used Fiverr to be able to assemble that and you can see here that these different items I'm using fiber to be able to create. So when I interview Jason miller, I need API need a piece of art to be able to do for the show notes, right to be able to promote that episode so I can spend $5 or $10 on Fiverr to get that particular asset produced. So I don't have to screw around inside Photoshop or some people like to use canvas and that's great, you can use whatever tool you want. But for me, I find that I don't want to learn those tools and I'd rather just pay five or $10 to have that item done. So it's part of gifting. Think about how you can spend just five or $10 anytime someone's done something good for you just to say thank you to them immediately. Don't wait two weeks, but just right away, find a way to say thank you to them and let me ask you, what do you think is the R. O. I. Of doing that gifting. I find I'm a math guy and I find it's almost impossible to calculate, but it is the highest roo I thing that I've ever done in my professional career, which is someone that does something nice for me. I always think about what are the different ways and here in our personal branding course, I've given you a list of the Fiverr gigs that I like to use the most. I think you'll find as you start to find these gigs, you'll have a signature way of how you like to say thank you whether it's recording a song or drawing a piece of art or posting on facebook or writing a blog post or a tweet, literally like how long does it take to write a tweet, saying thank you so much, You know what whoever it is for whatever they did for you when you start to realize that's possible. This abundant thinking through gratitude, you're gonna see that your personal brand gets so much more powerful because now you're saying thank you now you're uplifting other people instead of talking about just your products and services.
