We go back to our puzzle pieces for the very last time, right? So here's, what we weren't done today, we worked on the passionate career idea generator, peanut butter, jelly times we talked about play and how important it is and what's fun for us and being grown up since still playing and being responsible and not selfish, our mission manifestos that we literally just did our career contenders, which one's air kind of duking it out and what's there at the top of the list and being a multi passionate person and having it work within the rounds of our career. So if this is the first time that you guys at home are doing this, what you need to put him in these puzzle pieces, we actually have puzzles in the studio audience today, which I'm so excited about, but page forty five of your workbook has just blank puzzle pieces and what you fill them in with and hopefully the cameras could get like an overview here because it's better to kind of see what everyone else is doing is your takeaways, ...
right? So so if you've been with us all day today, I hope you have for the entire session, maybe there was something that leslie said about being multi passionate that really stuck with you that was kind of an ah ha moment for you or maybe there was and an idea that you came up with in the passionate career idea generator that it's sticking with you were basically taking your takeaway. So you put in one puzzle piece, maybe multi path thrive is a multi passionate um and maybe in another piece you're putting your manifesto. Are you're putting the first line of your manifesto? Maybe in another puzzle piece you're writing down the thing that you want to start doing right away that amounts to play for you. You're just writing down ukulele, you're writing down yoga or you're writing down hopscotch? Uh, maybe there's passionate career idea that is just stuck in your head. Um, or a theme that came out right so it's, just your takeaways and you could go over. Obviously, if you have this behemoth of a leg bug, you khun full it through everything that you've written and see what stands out to you or you could just do that gut check and no like I've been here for a whole session, I've been here for two sessions been here for three sessions. This is what's sticking for may on dh really it's to get our takeaways in one place, so yes, a one hundred twenty two pigs workbook is fantastic, but what's even better is a one place to go to that has all the important thing is that you've uncovered for yourself so I'll be asking the studio audience pretty soon what they're writing down today and they're building on what they've already written down on de chat to please we want to know what stuck out for you today what is part of your career puzzle uh so are you guys right on down? What do you got, stacy? We've a manifesto high you writing down like what you wrote the whole thing pretty much love it love it love it so we see you have a whole puzzle there ideo cameron's getting right here s o here so here we have lips look at stacy's whole puzzle growth time freedom telling it like it is community beautification talk about that a lot but that came up on the career conventions using interesting multi passionate educator and jewelry designer creates beautiful things that people feel good and perfectly in perfect not or and I n f p that's a personality type take baby steps I like the staircases find out me creativity there's number the what without the house taking risks thank you that's great. Thank you. All right jasmine has our whole puzzle like build up but I know you're still finding room well I added that line I added another layer of colors because I thought it was interesting to see like where my head went after last time yeah so you know, some of the things I wrote down our shared interest, it's just because of how much we're growing just by talking to each other here and we're all good at different things. S o barter and connect, he'll wait. We all want to help heal people in some way. That one was a big one for me to remember to take away from this be flexible like I love what you're talking about. Like you start with one idea, but then it evolves into something else and you have to stay open to allow that to happen on dh then make things prettier. That's always going to be my core value. It's good. And I was gonna look about fairy dust. And here it is. Oh, yeah. That's, right, that's a big one. And then you said hopscotch and it just hit me because, uh, it was my favorite movie is that one of them is the corpse bride. And that was the keyword to take her back to where she was saving, like, the underground yet, and it made me think beautiful, pretty corpse bride. And it was perfect filing. So thank you anxious thing, right? So here, like hopscotch doesn't mean you're gonna go no ascot but you know what it means yeah spark something for you yeah thank you. Andrea has a whole puzzle here. Well, I am I just some of this was from the other day freedom are you know, with money and time now I added acting because I want to bring that back in courage to do that. Teo yeah, all of that right? You're talking about letting go of the control and maybe letting go of some status and letting go of like, the things that you know it's going to be courage teo to do all of that and then living with passion and continue growing and learning health coach I love my prada my product on then I did my you guys did your gang I'm the same as you three only he and j on then just performing for fun like so that it doesn't have to be like I'm gonna make my living or I'm gonna become a movie star but just having fun with you thank you thank you joann could I come over and look over your shoulder or it's very in process okay, but that's beautiful and fantastic I live in process so we got photography production management I loved what he said that if if you tell people what you charge and you're not nervous about it it's not enough that charge enough from yesterday appreciate it doesn't need to change multi passionate why not me cowgirl? Because that was my childhood uh play and there's never without the how fetches up again baby steps vantage as big as love it's jen who's so colorful and let the patterns all right what do we got starting with why not me huh? Health personal transformation vulnerability growth listener people's creative process capturing essence people shining connection crossing out I'm not way when we did that right cross to get out it's gorgeous yeah I n f p I never e love it thank you thank you what you got going on over here but, uh she's still rating let's go to jennifer at carly she's no that's perfect keep right and keep writing I love this my god, this is a lot of good stuff. Yes, I'm a little bit wordy. No, I am to believe may believe me I'm married to a copywriter hey says to me you know that you used ten words when you figure three right? I'm gonna say yes why don't you edit the things that I write s so you know I'm married to senior copywriter who's written every single piece of coffee on my website may make a right that's who I am who I am I'm here yeah, it has to be a pretty package principles, colors oh yeah e books and yes because it would definitely have a peace where there would be printable cz for their offices or their workspace in whatever way their workspace looks on I love that idea of the agenda thing to the notebook that they could fill their ideas to anyway. So helpful resource okay and it's going to be fun and funny not funny not she's pretty but it's fun funny okay, cool okay, collaborative it's gotta be connecting with brilliant women it's gotta involve mentoring girls on making them feel empowered and knowing that they can do anything um it's you know again it's it's that I am the brand and that it's you know that that it's for you know that we're co creating a whole thing and it's all about relationships and it's all about analyzing got going okay, lana political is okay gathering things people thoughts you know, reviews everything together in one place for people it's for a big score guys, thank you. So, uh all right, so I have number one travel make sure I'm going places even if it's in my own city uh just jump in because like you're saying it's hard to start sometimes um just finding harmony in those different uh things that I value making them work together somehow which I think we worked out creativity just be creative and have fun don't need to be practical no desk for me, huh? Good I said enough at work I use a sixteen invisible yeah, thank you thank you very oh, uhm okay welcome risk those something I didn't know I had when I began being multi passionate I love that there's a word for it now, huh? Encouraging variety and start many things um where can understand energy burst I think that's gonna be important for me and I'll probably only want to take on projects that I can pick up and put down great on dh then as talking earlier on about having a couple versions of myself like one for work one for this and then I really want to work on myself as a brand and having my name and then that see umbrella and things brand shop of it but they can all be one, you know? And then I left I left one so I could do this again in a year yeah, this is a great thing to dio right? And every year you add your puzzle pieces maybe takes him away being hit by a hole brand new puzzle at the craft store whatever and do you want every year I love it. Thank you. Um nicole we have come over to you right okay, so I love them I'm kind of just making it pretty okay perfect mama so passion time freedom created enthusiasms and they really want one two three this is how I dropped two yes physical fitness dancing travel um why not make yeah yeah um I s f j so was blurring my personality um fitness model coach bringing it all together was a big one learning my truth so I remember that one loved to do lots of things so the big like hana today was inspired design in crete hey that's sick stacy doing it to you yeah okay uh I think what are my new ones? So we talked about it lunch that it's not my fault it's my type god I'd felt ashamed before that I wasn't a good manager and says right in my type your hand that was not her fault I wrote my little mantra now and I brought this because I have trouble sometimes this self esteem even though I'm always the loudest person I'm always the most scared first sin but I wrote you do have the seals personality in time to do the things that challenge you scare you and make you happy so okay we're ending there I got to everyone right oh my god, that was just the best thing okay all right all right so we have our puzzle pieces and now we need to talk about our personal homework right? So jim said like, oh, this room full of overwhelms people that are ready to start something but like where do we start and what do we dio obviously that could be a whole another creative life course so we're just we're gonna just blew like put it right on down so that we know when we leave this room when we turn off that computer what our personal homework iss hello here are some ideas of where to start okay this is what you might need to do next but before I get to them I want to give you some more reminders right? This is these are things that are gonna help you on your way reminder number one take ur time what we did in three sessions takes my client's three to four months and sometimes longer to do right so during that time they usually discover what it is they want to do and they start doing it but sometimes it just takes some that long to really like discover it and commit to it and just like get their feet barely a little bit wet so this is a process and taking your time leads to the clarity it leads to the commitment to write s o don't make any big like rash whimsical crazy decisions just still keep that exploration mine keep that career detective mind keep that begin our mind and explorer and take your time to contradict that don't take forever oh my goodness don't take forever notice when you feel that almost equal amount of nerves and x site name because that's always the path it's going to lead you to growth and clarity and then actually do something with it before you know twenty thirty because then I would be sad reminder number to get out of your head and into your hands. This was a phrase that one of my brilliant former clients came up with on dh she came to one of our sessions and said, michelle, I have to remember that when I do things and I used my hands that's that's when I feel like I'm moving forward and that's when things become clear to me so we could talk about this forever you could see sit in front of that computer and watch these videos over and over and over again, especially when you it's the course and and that's great up to a point but you need to stop thinking you need to stop analyzing and overthinking all over again and just do something already yes denver I redden author she said, doing instead of spewing, I like that bet on there there a puzzle and get totally be apiece uh reminder number three don't expect the linear don't expect it to be a straight line oh, I'm going to do this gonna lead me to this and this is going to make sense and blah blah blah I I've never met anyone who would describe their career path as linear so don't look for it instead expect this expect some of the execs is expect the roller coaster ride expect going taking two steps forward and one step back and five step forward and six steps back like expect that to be the process not that things are going to be a smooth ride reminder number four I'm so glad so many of you wrote this on your puzzle pieces baby steps build the strongest foundation so I really have zero regrets that it took me two years and seven months in my executive assistant job the very same month I started that job I started my career coaching certification and it took me that long to feel comfortable and confident leaving that job and in that time I took a baby step every day sometimes it was a big or baby steps sometimes I was coaching a client and maybe in a class or I was working on my website or you know, graduating from my certification those air kind of bigger steps and sometimes it was just oh I could write a paragraph of a block post today or oh I could follow five people on twitter today do something every day get that momentum and know that my timeline isn't everyone's timeline but if you rush rush, rush, rush, rush, rush, rush, rush rush through it you might have the semblance of something but you're gonna have bigger cracks in the foundation so here's some suggestions on how to kind of jump you off with the homework do it brained up as to what you need to do moving forward there space for this on pages one seventeen to one eighteen of the workbook here are some examples number one take the questions you wrote down in the four year consider operation exercise and gets researching so jenny right away you could say, how could I figure out how to teach croce and the way that I wanna teach o'shea what do I need to know about teaching? How could I build that curriculum? Not be something that you might do. So take those questions that you wrote down and know that, like I'm going to answer those questions that could literally be the first thing you do. Number two take a test drive of the career, the careers you want to try out eso you know, we talked about to be charged people doing not only d'oh make it as easy as possible, right? Like, like put it out there like molly quigley on facebook. Um, or you know, before she even asked anyone, could I write your copy for your online dating profile? She just wrote the curriculum for a classic she thinks she wants to teach, so this doesn't even have to involve ever anyone else and I love jenna did this last night. She wrote down. What would it be to be the swag analyzer? What would I do for you? And so you just having that outline, I think, gives you more inside us to whether it's something. I wanted to pick one of those things that you wrote down. Start to it. Take a test drive of the career. You want to try out number three, right, dear, future me the letter, ok, I love this exercise so much. I was trying to figure out a way to do it together while still being engaging, and I couldn't figure it out, but basically it's an exercise where you would write today's date at the top of the page, but a year later, so right now he would say september thirteen, twenty, fifteen and I would say, dear future, michelle and I would talk about in the letter, all the things that have happened from right now in the present to the date of that letter. So many things have happened since you appeared on creative live. Oh, my god, this happened with your business, and this happened with your family, and this is where you're living, and this is what you look like, and anything else that kind of comes to me, that I want to include now, this is not a road map for like, a checklist, then to the things that we want to do. This just helps us get that clarity and put it out into the universe and its interesting the person who told me about this exercise, her name is jessica lively, and she does really great work if you want to look her up. She said that she approaches from kind of a more scientific way that when she would do that exercise and she looked at it a year later, like something like eighty percent of the things she wrote down came true, and she didn't she didn't do any like aggressive work with that, but while that could be a side effect, I don't think that's the point of the exercise, it's just really to allow yourself tio flex that training muscle and really paint a picture of what it is you want for yourself, and then you tuck it away when I love to do is to loaded into a website called feature me dot orc, and it just allows you to write an email that you could stand to anyone and future date it. So you send it to yourself on the date of the letter, and and it appears in your email inbox well it's just it's so great to read that again I also I do is exercise pretty much every year on new year's day and I put it up on my block so if you have the workbook you'll have a link to my most recent letter which then has links to all of my other letters I do this and then I take up the really personal stuff and I put the rest of the line for brooke just the course now to get my big bat workbook and have evergreen access to all the material you could do this forever and ever and ever I have clients that comes to me for three four years later that same michelle I'm still referring to the notes from when we worked together there's still helping me and I know that when they're in this form and with these videos as opposed to just scattered notes all over the place who knows where they're going to end up and live um it's so much easier to go back to and re dio right so you could do this course in a year finding stuff financers print the workbook up again and do it all over uh you could visit when I grow up coach dot com slash creative life joined the dream career creators it's my close group on facebook currently there are over a hundred people in there from all over the world really, really super exciting uh paige is one eighteen to one twenty we're answering these questions right quick quick gut checks what is your own personal homer consist of what might have to be sacrificed in order to follow through on your homework talked about this with andrea little bit right? There might be tangible things in terms of you know I'm not gonna order so many things on amazon I'm going to stop buying shoes on sale at macy's and it might be the intangible things like I need to just deal with the fact that I might not be in control for a while or I need to allow myself to not have my identity be around my status like what is it that needs to be sacrificed? You can't say yes to something unless you say no to something else right? Especially in this time when our time is just so valuable it just can't happen so if you expect to do this on top of everything else you already dio uh good luck to you don't do that uh three what will you gain by doing your homework and what will you gain by doing euros you do the homework what are you gonna gain tangibly in tangibly what is that? What will your prizes and celebration the rights we talked about? We talked this in relation to play but if we tie a bribe or a celebration along with especially the things that we have to do that are really scary or really out of our comfort zone are really things that were not so good at, but we need to do it like looking at our finances so we know when we could quit our jobs, tie it up with the prize or a celebration and figure out what that is before hand before you do that and who could help you during this process. So you know, if you're in a relationship with a wonderful partner than they could help you, uh, the dream career creators could help you maybe a coach that you want to hire may be your best a friend who is it that you know we'll support you during this process that won't say, do you like, what are you doing again? What are u looking teo are like, what do you mean you won't be at happy hour like we know we all know those people it's, not those people, those people won't help you or other people here that are going to help you, so I want to hear I want to hear from you guys what's next on your less of what you need to do what's your personal homework yes, you and, uh I want dear future me letter o great feel sort of equally challenging and yeah, and exciting I have to say I have to just add its ends up being like sometimes an emotional experience not when I write it I like for myself the wine or the tea that I love and then you know, I put on the music that I like and like I kind of create the mood for it but yes it's challenging but also really powerful um I want to get in touch with paula, okay? The project management has thinks he's doing and going back to sort of the photography piece want to get in touch with heart gallery, which is a organization that takes pictures of foster kids, get them into adoption books and get him a doctor could help scale that cool. Okay, uh and I have a new camera and I need to sit down and actually spend time reading the book watching youtube and I also want to look at stock photography b I have a class to sit down and watch on that. So write what you doing next what's the next thing you're gonna do I like this. So you have your short list what's the net what are you doing tonight when you get home or tomorrow? First thing I'll allow it tomorrow um actually tomorrow I'm hoping to be playing with my niece okay tomorrow yes. What are you doing first off that list playing with my new camera. Fantastic. I'm going to new mexico in october for the balloon festival. How? I want to be able to get some really good pictures, though. And I have a feeling might be able to take your camera to see your niece and maybe tries to found this is true. I don't think she wants to be a model. Oh, yeah, right. Teo, you two together, she would way want to hear to in the chat tell us your personal homer. Tell us the very next thing that you know that you were going to dio stacy. Yes. You nodding? So I have to get out of my head and into my hands. How you going to do that? I have a ton of inventory that I already have done, but none of it's on my etc shop. Because I get stuck like it has to be. The perfect description has to be the perfect picture or nobody will buy it. And how do I do all the stuff? So I just have to just put out there. So when you hear that now, when you hear that perfection and lovable as it enough, but well, but now what do you do now, do you know where that's coming from, um how are we dealing with that now how do you like doing voices now I'm saying ok vampire voice I hear you but it's part of my personality type two that's harder so I accepted acknowledge it and then I'm just gonna push through it just thank you, vampire but I don't believe you anymore goodbye. Yeah, but by god I'll put this stuff on etc so that your celebration I could sit on the couch with a glass of wine watch my shows with my daughter that's what? We know you're going to get us yes, yes. Allow that. Who else? Jenna uh at this point I think I need to do a day for maybe tomorrow because alone somewhere maybe go to golden gate park thing but that I just have so many notes I want them all in one spot and I want to organize them so tastic. So that's what you know your next step is gonna be is to give yourself your own session for a great dream career which is like whatever you need to do to get yourself in that head space to do that. Fantastic great. Anyone coming up on the chat? Yes, absolutely. Beth so fierce saying I have decided that tomorrow is my deadline to finish a project I've been intending to so ah love it on amanda how was saying? Well, now that I thought the domain should be next week I'll be setting it up with a new pretty face and redirecting my old domain to the new one and she says she did reach out and purchase what you see cheeky, cheeky visionaries that happened that was literally like minutes ago yeah exactly so she's already done it I'm going to born is saying my personal homework is to go over the workbook in more detail, work on it and then play mohr and get my creativity back good I'm so c so like your personal homework does not have to be those career they was doing this thing it could be I need to play I need to get my creativity I need to get back in touch with who I am and what I like what's important to me what's joyful what's fun right he's going to be writing their future me like oh good I'm glad really like future and future me dot org's if you when you send it to yourself in the future it's like so trippy but so cool right so in the workbook to there's this little gold game uh that I like so here the steps of what you need to dio here's the action and here is the deadline's this is a really great way to take something that's overwhelming or a bigger kind of project and break it into steps and know what you need to dio along with little prices and celebrations built in right so step one uh what's up one one step and obviously you don't have to use all these stuff secret kind of makes him actually could add more steps whatever you need but what's important is that you know, the specific action it's not just learn about being a teacher that is that could be so overwhelming we're getting specific what am I going to do to learn about being a teacher? Maybe I'm going to go to google and ask, you know, teaching courses or something like that, and so I could see the ways of doing it. And then number two is how dowe I want to teach I'm looking at the different ways of doing that, I don't know and then deadlines and then prizes and a big celebration at the end and the celebration could be, you know, either the fancy thing you're going to go to macy's and treat yourself to the shoes that you've been looking at. Absolutely or you're gonna go to a show or something like that or you're just going to say, soak in the frickin tub and tell, you know, the husband to entertain the kids and like that could be a celebration on its own, so I hope you guys notice that this course was called create your dream career because it's up to you vision it's and to shape it and bring it to life on I'm here to help. I'm continuously just here to help. So I met when I grow up coach dot com this is my website right now, right? It's all, like, come to by creative lie, of course, that you could see all of the places that I hang out online, connect with me in any way that you want teo and go to aa. When I grow up, cooks dot com slash creative live and put your name in your email right here, and I'll be able to add you to the facebook group, and I will be able to send you like specially curated block posts of well, I have, like, six, six years of block posts, and so I kind of looked through them and said, what's going to be most helpful to the people who have taken this course. So you're going to get all of that and I want to be posted on what it is you guys are doing, so that way are but we've got some great feedback for you. Michelle shanti claire is saying thank you so much for an excellent course, michelle, you rock and creative life I'm forever grateful for having found you. And thanks to everybody on in the chat room is my classmates lots of love to all your investors success for your next steps and business and that is what you're doing here, michelle you're creating a community that we're all going to move forward together from what you've taught us over the last three sessions. It's been amazing stuff, but what your final thoughts would you like to leave our audience with his one thing they've got to get? Just get out there and do oh my god, what have you just have to do it just have to do something I have to pick one thing and just do that one thing that's it there's no worrying about is this the right thing? It's the perfect thing is that's the thing that's enough is that you have done so much work here and it would break my heart and I think probably break your heart even more if you I walked out that door or you shut off the computer and you did not come back to this work and honor everything that you've done and found out about yourself and actually put that into motion. So please don't let this just be another course that you know you sat through or you purchased and just sits there, do the work and then make it happen it's up to you to do it I think you inspired me to do that I think very much and thank you to all of you have joined us online thank you for all of your interactions it's been amazing having you with us you're the reason that we're here of course you're the reason that michelle is here to really inspire you to get out there and follow your dreams and find your dream career I won't say a huge thank you of course to our wonderful studio audience they've been amazingly different cast has been amazing so thank you for all of you for being here hope you'll come back against, you know tell you're so much better than the students we had yesterday if you'd like to be here studio sometime, just go to creative life dot com slash check out our calendar and they go to slash front row and then hopefully we'll see you here or maybe in seattle you never know what we'd love to have you here the studio sometime, but I do want to say a huge thank you to this amazing lady who's brought so much energy toe creative life of the last three days on this I know has inspired so many more of you and we hope that we're going to see in the galleries and here from the future how much she's changed the way you're approaching your career let's give it up for a wonderful michelle ward theo, wait, thank you. Have you heard the expression cut to the song? I know, but let's, do it. Okay, here's, my feet, son. Hey, uh, when I grow up, go where you gonna be when you grow a singing lawyer or the trainer of the little pumps it's never too late to discover what you want to dio you could own up fire truck. I'll hell, do you get a clue. Hey, wait, you, you, you!

This class was sooo incredibly fun and inspiring. It was wonderful to meet Michelle and interact with her in person. She is warm, kind, approachable and genuinely passionate about helping creatives find a career they can love. Having been raised to believe that the only route to a secure retirement was to find a job with a pension or, at least, a good 401k, this class gave me the courage to believe that I could do work I love and still finance a fabulous life in retirement. It also put things in perspective because it helped me to see that I deserve to be happy as much as anyone else who has carved a successful niche for themselves doing work they feel good about. And, it reminded me that if I try something and discover it isn't the right fit, the worse that can happen is that I go find that job with a pension at that point. So what? Why not me? Amen! xoxo, Jen

My dad used to tell me, "You don't get to do what you love. You just learn to love what you do." For years and years, I've been wandering from job to job wondering why I just wasn't feeling the love, no matter how much I learned to be good at what I do. Although, I tried to resign myself to the idea that work would always be something to dread day in and day out, I couldn't help but day dream about the elusive "perfect" job! I searched for years for tests or counselors who could help give me some direction as to what I would be good at and just before I lost hope, I found this class. I snuck it in during work on my cellphone (shh don't tell lol) and was running back to my desk when I had to be pulled away. It's nice to know someone understands what I've been going through and Michelle's energy is just so positive and motivating that I know that I can make things happen! I watched the free live broadcast but even before the end of day 1 I knew this class was a resource I'll gladly pay for! I would and have recommended this class to many people I know feel the same way I do! Changed my life! We're not made to fit into a mold so why not create your dream career! My review in one word? Amazeballs!

I purchased this course and made sure to finish it before 2015 started. It was so easy to go through the course and I made sure to be diligent in actually doing the activities and homework. I never knew there were other MULTI-PASSIONATE out there like me! I thought I was just a confused human being who needs to figure out her life! Haha! Michelle's energy and passion to help others are so eminent in the way she presents and guides us. I love the setting of Creative Live as well because I felt involved with the studio audience despite having to watch these sessions by myself. :) I learned so much about myself, about how I can incorporate my multiple interests into a unique ball of career perfectly molded for me, by me. All thanks to the help and wisdom of Michelle's experiences and talents. What a great end of 2014 and a great way to start 2015! THIS COURSE IS WORTH YOUR TIME AND MONEY. :)
