Fan Links Toneden
Hi there in this video, I'm gonna show you how to use Tonen to create fan links for your music. So as a fan link, a fan link, you might have seen them from other artists online. It's where the artists post a link to their music and then the fan clicks on it and it has different options to listen to their music on the different streaming platforms like Spotify or to purchase on itunes and, and other platforms as well. So it's a really easy way to collect the different links for the same song from the different streaming platform. So you can give your fans the choice of which platform they like to consume music on but posting one link. Ok. So to get started, you just go to Tonen dot IO, I've created an account already but it will ask you to create a free account. That's great. And then from here to create a fan link, we go to campaigns and then click fan links down here, create a fan link for free choose music, of course. And then I'm gonna switch over to Spotify here and this is Sheri L...
ynn's uh latest release sisters with me, just gonna click on the icon, click uh copy album link and then paste it into there. And as you can see it's actually populated the links from the different streaming platforms, which is really, really cool. And then from here, we can just continue and you see here, this is what the link will look like when her fans open it. And from here, you can customize some of it, you can upload um some background images as well. You can just click continue from here and you can also uh upload an MP3 preview of the song if you wanted to. So people can just click on it and listen to the song and click continue. And then from here you can format the preview further, so continue from here and then you have other links which you probably don't really need to worry about at the moment from here. You just continue. Uh You don't need to bother with these options at the moment. That's some more advanced marketing stuff. Everything looks good, create fan link and there you go. OK. So from here, we can view the landing page and this is what it will look like for your fans when they click on the link. And then from here, they can just choose which platform they want to listen to your latest release on. You can always like copy the link. I'll just copy it to the clipboard so you can paste it And then from this part of the dashboard, you can also look at the analytics of your fan link, hope that was useful.
