How to Find a Freelancer to Editing a Music Video Template
Hi and welcome to this video. We're going to be looking at outsourcing the editing of our templates for our lyric video or our visualizer. So most of these templates will require editing on after effects, which is Adobe after effects. It's an animation piece of software. A lot of them will include tutorials to show you how to download this. But if you don't have after effects or if you've never used anything like this before, don't worry, we can actually outsource this or pay someone online to edit this for us. So, the most popular outsourcing website is called upwork.com and you can find freelancers to help you with projects. So these are people all around the world and you can pay them per hour for the project and you can find an expert who can probably do this a lot faster than you are. I can. Ok. So if we just type in here after effects templates and do a search and you can see there's people like here 98% job success, $30 an hour, you can find people who charge less. For example, ...
this person's $10 an hour, $12 an hour or there's people that charge a bit more $40 an hour. Generally speaking, though, I do recommend paying a little bit more if you go too cheap, maybe the work might not be quite as good. But you never know, you could find a really great freelancer who isn't too expensive. There's also filters on here as well. Say, for example, we want to spend between $10.30 dollars, which is probably what I would select for this project. Job success. I'm going to choose 80% and up and any amount earned. I'm going to select 1000 plus earned, which basically means I've done a lot of jobs on this website. So they're not going to be brand new. They kind of know the system of freelancing online. Ok. So let's uh do a search again. OK. And let's scroll down and have a look at these people. So this person here $30 an hour, let's try this guy 98% and there's this person below $12 an hour. So what I would do now is actually discuss my project with probably this person and the next one as well and tell them what you want to say. You have an after effects template for a music video, send them over the song, send them over the lyrics and ask them how much would this cost and how quick can you do it if they say a price that you agree with and a timeframe that you agree with. Say, for example, they say this will take me 2.5 hours to edit and I'll get this done in maybe one week that could be good. And for a price like this, you could get it done for maybe under $50. But it really does depend, you may want to spend more on this, but you never know this person who costs a bit less could be really good. So I do recommend actually chatting with different freelancers and just find a ballpark figure, read their profile and their reviews, make sure they know what they're doing. I'm sure this person knows a lot more about video editing and after effects editing. And like I said, you are, I because that's their specialty, they're experts in motion graphics. So that's a website you can use. It's called upwork. There's other ones as well you can use such as freelancer. But for specialist work like this, I do recommend using upwork. So if you do find a really cool template such as a visualizer or a lyric video, and you don't really know how to edit this even with the tutorials or you don't actually physically own Adobe after effects. I do recommend finding a professional to do this for you. And on the website upwork, you can find a great person that doesn't cost too much. However, it can be useful learning certain pieces of software for future reference But if you just want your music video edited and you don't want to spend all your time learning different bits of software. Have a look and get this outsourced, but I do recommend chatting with a freelancer first. Make sure you find the right person who can do the job.
