Pre-Save Spotify Toneden
Hi there in this video. I'm gonna show you how to create a Spotify presa link using Tonen dot IO. So what is a Presa Spotify link? So basically think of a preorder. Ok. So it's a means of you inviting your fans to save your Spotify release ahead of the release date. Ok? So let's say you're releasing the song in a month's time. You can use a Spotify Presa link to get your fans to save the song before it comes out. And then when it does come out, it automatically appears in their library on the day. Some of the D SPS already have their own version of this built into their service like CD Baby has show.co and distro kid has hyper follow. But if you don't use those or you haven't signed up for those, you can use Tonen to do it as well. The only thing you'll need is the UR I code from Spotify and you'll need to get that from your distributor, which means uploading your masters and preparing the release. ee way to do it tonen allows you to create es Spotify, Presa links for free. You just need to get the UR I code from your distributor. OK? So let's get started. Um I've got a Presa link that I've created with Sherry Lynn if we uh view that campaign. OK. So we've just um recently launched this one. And what I'm gonna do is view Presa page just so you know what that looks like as you can see here when her fans click on this link, they can presa her release on Spotify. So when it does get released, it's already in their library ready for them to listen to, to get started though. Uh you'll need to go to playbooks for this one and then on the category to go to music. And then down here you create a landing page for fans to presa your release on Spotify. And it's simple as going through uh this process right now. So like I said, you'll need the UR I code from your distributor, some distributors, you will need to literally request that from them. Some of them will just provide that to you in the portal. But you just click on this playbook and then click create new campaign and then you can format the proa and in which way that you wish, OK, hope that was useful and I'll see you in the next video.
