Finding Templates for a Lyric Video or Visualizer
Hi there and welcome to this video where we're going to be looking at lyric templates and music visualizers. So if you have a song with lyrics, having a lyric template can just be an interesting way to actually make a video a bit more interesting. So the listener can view the lyrics or even sing along at home. Ok. So I'm just on the website now called Video hive.net. And this is actually a website where you can find templates. These will normally be in after effects. But if you don't use after effects, don't worry. In the next lecture, I'm going to show you how you can find people to actually edit the music videos for you for quite a cheap price. But if you do have a copy of after effects, a lot of these videos will come with a step by step guide. So you can quickly just edit this in after effects as well. I personally do use after effects a little bit and can edit these templates. You don't have to be amazing at after effects to do this because the instructions are normally quite easy...
to follow along. However, if you don't use Adobe after effects. Don't worry, I don't recommend getting after effects just to do this. It'd be a lot easier for you just to find someone else a freelancer to edit the videos for you. So if we go on video hive.net and we type in lyric template, we can see we get all these different lyric templates appear. Some of these are pretty cool. So previously I showed you how to make a lyric video in final cut pro, these are a bit more interesting. These are a bit more professional looking in my opinion, but they're a bit harder to set up. So this one here, let's just click on this. And you can see at the time we're recording this, this costs $29 and we get a license copy of this so we can use it with our song and we're basically just paying to use this template. So this person here who's very good at aftereffects has made this template and they're selling it on this website. So instead of trying to make a template by yourself or paying a professional to make a custom template for you, you can just buy a license for this template and it's a lot easier and quicker. So let's just have a look at this template, Audio jungle. So yeah, this looks pretty cool. In my opinion, this might be great for a love song as you can see. And you can see here files include after effects project file. So you will need to have a copy of after effects or you can hire someone on the website to edit it for you in after effects, which I recommend if you don't have after effects or you've never used after effects before after effects is quite complex. It's not the easiest thing to do, but you will normally get a guide of this to show you how to edit the template. So we're not creating this from scratch. We're just going to edit the templates. OK? There's this one here as well. This one looks pretty cool. I really and to so that could be more of a summer song. So you can see we have 26 slides in total hand drawn animation, doodles, video tutorial included. If you're going to try and edit this yourself, I definitely recommend finding one that says video tutorial included. Otherwise it's gonna be very difficult to edit. But with the tutorials in my experience anyway, it's not that difficult. Now, let's have a look at some music visualizers. So the same website, it's part of Envato market. It's called video hive.net, just type in music visualizer. And here you can see you get all these different visualizers. I'm sure you've probably seen this on Trap Nation or other channels where they have a music visualizer. So when the music plays, you have these visuals that kind of sync up to the music. So if you don't have lyrics if you have an instrumental piece, this can be a great one to choose as well. Let's have a look at this. So this can be great for any kind of electronic music or EDM music. I actually really like this 3d 1. So I've actually created a music visualizer before. I'm just going to play a few seconds of this. So you can see the frequencies around here and when it plays different notes, you can see it on the visualizer. This didn't take too long to do, but at the same time, it wasn't that simple. If you've never used maybe Photoshop or Premiere Pro or any kind of Adobe product before, I don't really recommend trying to learn after effects. Even with the tutorials after effects is quite a difficult piece of software to use the next lecture. We're going to look at finding people to edit this for you. So if you're comfortable with video editing or animation or anything like that, I do recommend trying to do this yourself in after effects. You can get some really cool ones like this. If not, I recommend outsourcing this, which we're going to look at in the next lecture. So thanks for watching and I'll see you in the next one.
