Course Design & Resources
Welcome to Part One of our perfect product Chorus and in this video I'm gonna show you how this course is designed. Now, I'm gonna keep reiterating on this point because it's so, so important, this is an action based course. We only learn things when we actually go ahead and do it ourselves and in most of the videos inside this course we're going to give you one simple task to complete, walk you through exactly how to complete it and then pause the video and invite you to complete it yourself. We can't emphasize enough the importance that you actually pause the video and do the task that we give you. It's tempting to watch all the videos, feel a sense of completion and accomplishment and then think that at that point you're gonna go ahead and do all those steps on your own. But the thing is we forget really quickly and if we watch 10 videos we're gonna forget how to do eight of the things we just watched. That's why it's much better if you watch the video and do it yourself and that's ...
going to train your mind through, experience, muscle memory, all that good stuff and then you're ready to move on to the next video and the way this part of the course is structured is in part one, you have a course goal and you can think of that as the North Star, It's the one thing that you're going to accomplish by the time you finish part one. Next up are the mini goals, we know that big goals can be intimidating and for that reason we've broken up that bigger goal into smaller mini goals and this gives you a sense of progression and accomplishment, which is what makes video games so fun, so doesn't that sound great? And finally, we have two different types of videos, past videos and active videos and pass the videos. All you have to do is sit back and take notes, but it's important that you're paying attention. This is typically for videos that talk about the fundamentals of amazon FB A this is your foundation of knowledge about why we're doing what we're doing. Then there are those active videos, inactive videos, we give you one thing to complete, we walk you through exactly how to do that thing and then invite you to do it yourself. Now, the course goal for part one is to decide on the one product that you want to import and find the best 2-3 suppliers to import that product from this Part one is designed for people with no amazon FBI experience. If you have experience, it's only going to help you, but you don't need it going into part one And as far as many goals go, there are four mini goals in part one and these mini goals. Break up that course goal into smaller objectives. The first mini goal is to understand what to look for in a product, this is so important. The second mini goal is to go ahead and decide on the one product that you want to import after that Mini goal three is to find the right supplier for your product. And finally, mini goal four is to review your product and supplier selection. And as I mentioned before, every mini goal is made up of a collection of videos in active videos. You're gonna get that one action step that we're going to complete together so you never have to feel alone. It's like we're your amazon FB, a coach sitting right by your side and in past videos, you simply have to pay attention. In this video, we talked about how this course is designed. I'll see you in the next video.
