Action - Find Out If Our Products Have A High RPR
in this video, we're gonna be taking a look to see if our products have a high R. P. R. Or revenue per review. Before we move forward in this video. I want to let you know that since filming this original video, we've changed our criteria for revenue per review. And this is to give you more accurate results. This video will show you how to easily find the revenue per review for each of your products. But what you want to be looking for is to make sure that five of the top 15 products have an RPR over $100. And this is the criteria you'll find on your advanced product criteria sheet which you downloaded when you began this course. And this is a measure that tells us about how much we can expect to make in monthly sales for each review that our product has. It is by no means a perfect measure, but it gives us a general idea of how well a product might do to get started. We're going to use the double dog leash as our first example and we're going to open up an internet browser from here. ...
We're going to head to amazon dot com and then type in the double dog leash. Then I'm gonna click on our unicorn smasher plug in. And the two numbers that were interested in are the estimated monthly revenue and the number of reviews I'm gonna take out a calculator and start calculating the R. P. R. S for each of these products. And to calculate this we do the revenue which in this case is 90 700 Divided by the number of reviews which is 536. And for that product the revenue per review is around $18. Which does not pass our criteria of at least $50. For that reason I'm gonna keep looking at other products on the front page. The next one is around $3,000 divided by 52 reviews. And that passes that's over $50 per review. So I'm gonna make a note of that. That's one product that passes so far. Let's look at a few of the others, 40 858 divided by a very close to passing. But in this case it doesn't. I'm gonna look for more products. Next up is 7187 divided by $70. So that's two products on the front page that pass our criteria. And let's see if we can find a third. I'm gonna do 13,770 Divided by 577. And that's per review. So I'll keep looking. If we scroll down, I see one here that looks like it'll pass 3248 Divided by 71. It's close but not quite. Let's keep looking. 12556 Divided by 21. And that product definitely passes way over $50. I'm gonna go back to the criteria sheet and make a note that yes, at least through the products on the first page for the double dog leash, have an RPR over 50. Now let's take a look at the acrylic stapler. I'm going to go back exit and unicorn smasher type in acrylic stapler and I'm gonna click on our unicorn smasher plug in. One thing that sometimes happens with unicorn smasher is since it's a free plug in, it's not the highest quality. And occasionally for products like this, it won't show you all of the information that you might want for whatever reason and that's unfortunate. But we do have two options. One option is we can just skip this criteria for the stapler and say that we didn't have enough data to determine the RPR. And although it's a helpful criteria, we don't really need it. Another option is to use a more professional plug in that can find out this information for us. And one extension that we really like is Jungle Scout Pro. Now, unfortunately it is a paid plug in unlike Unicorn smasher, but it gives us all the information we need and a lot of other really helpful information if you want to learn more about what this plugging can offer you. And if it's worth the extra investment, Check out our videos on the subject in the bonus section of this course. And we also have a link where you can save a little bit of money if you decide it's worth it to get this plug in. Now I'm gonna pull out my calculator and get started. So I know this one is not going to pass, but maybe the next one will $1518 divided by 13. And that's over $100 in our pr so I'm gonna say yes, we have one product that passes. The next one is 600 divided by one review, Which would make that $599 in our pr so that's another that passes our criteria Below that. We have 7,096 divided by 74. And already that's three products that pass our criteria. I'm gonna go back and click Yes. And the acrylic stapler passes our criteria. And next up we're going to take a look at the belly casket. I'm gonna see if we can use unicorn smasher for this. But if not I'll use Jungle Scout if it doesn't come up. And here it's showing the estimated revenue. So we can start calculating the RPR. The First One is 1156, divided by 166. And that's too low. 30 400 divided by 190. That's too low. 30 210 divided by closer but still too low. Now we have 777 divided by 16. And that's very close but not quite. So if I keep looking down here, none of these look like they would pass our test Here. We have 400 divided by two which is 200 revenue per review. So that's one product that passes 175 divided by one is per review. So that's two products that pass. And if we keep scrolling down we see 225 divided by one Which is $225 per review. And that's three products that passed the criteria. I'm gonna jump back to our sheet here and check off. Yes. In this video we determine different products have a high R. P. R. In the next video we're going to see if our products past the keyword test, pause this video now and don't move on until you found out if your products have a high revenue per review.
