Congratulations on finishing Minigolf three by now you've narrowed down your choices and decided on that one product that you want to import in this next mini goal mini goal four, we're going to find 2 to 3 suppliers on Alibaba that you can import a sample from in this first video our task is to find five potential suppliers. The sheet we're going to be using is called the supplier comparison sheet and you can find it as an attachment to this video and download it right now. And the first thing we're gonna want to do is type in our product name and for my case I'm doing the double dog leash and then we're gonna want to hop over to our internet browser and go to alibaba dot com and then type in the name of the product that we're interested in and here we have a couple options. And the first thing I want you to note is take a look at how many products show up. So right now, before we check off any of these extra verifications, we have about 6200 different double dog leash is showing up i...
n our search results. And the reason why I want to take a note of this is after we click off the verification that we want, it'll be interesting to see how much lower that number gets. There's a lot of information that goes with what these three criterias mean and for that reason we've created an extra resource sheet attached to this video and if you wanna read up more about each of these different types of verification, you can download that resource sheet for our example here. I'm just gonna be skimming the surface. But if you're the type of person that wants to go more in depth, definitely check out that sheet. The first thing we have here is trade assurance, which is a service that Alibaba provides where they help us with our payment to the supplier and make sure it's secure for our case. We're going to insist that we use Paypal for our first transaction, which is pretty good at offering us protection as a buyer. And for that reason, I'm not going to check off trade assurance. The next one is gold supplier. And the most important criteria to get this is Alibaba, send someone to check the manufacturer on site and make sure they are, who they claim to be and they have a real manufacturing plant and I'm gonna check this off. It's important that they at least have the gold supplier verification. Finally, we have the option to check assess supplier and this is a much more in depth criteria for manufacturers the past. And if you want to read more about what exactly it means, Check out that resource sheet. One thing to note about this is, it's hard for suppliers to get this and if we were to check it, you would see that the number of products that pass dramatically drops and for that reason, although it is helpful to have this checked off. I don't believe it's necessary for now. We're just gonna start with that called supplier check now we're going to start looking for some suppliers. What I'm looking for our product images that match the type of product that I'm interested in. So I noticed there's different types of this double dog leash, but whatever type this is here with that handle is the one that I'm interested in. And for that reason, I'm curious about this supplier right here and I'm gonna open this in a new tab and that's just the way of saving it for later. Now. I'm gonna keep scrolling down and see if we can find some more. So this one looks good. And this one so you could pull as many of these suppliers as you like. For now, I'm just gonna look at these six listings. But if we were to scroll down, you would see that there are an endless number of pages for this product. So we have a lot of different suppliers to choose from Now. The first one here, it looks pretty interesting. It looks high quality according to the images and if we scroll down we can get a little bit more information about the supplier for now. I'm just gonna save the supplier for later and I'm gonna copy this web address, go to our supplier comparison sheet and type that in here. Then one other thing I'm gonna do is make a note of the name of the supplier and it's always a good idea to make a note of the supplier name and just keep that with the website of the supplier and that will help you stay organized. Now let's make a note of the next one. And I'm gonna copy this address added to our list and then copy the supplier name and put that there. And I'm also going to extend the product name since we're only looking at the double dog leash. Next up is this one and I'll do the same for this. And here's a good example of another product listing, but it's by one of the suppliers. We've already saved. So if you look at this, you woo senior. If we look back earlier, we can see we already made a note of that supplier, he was senior. So that just means that that same supplier has posted multiple different product listings for this double dog leash. And what I'm gonna do is I'm not going to save this because we've already added that supplier to our list and instead, I'll just exit out of this. In this video, we found five potential suppliers on Alibaba.
