Course Design & Class Materials
We're so excited to have you join us here for part two of perfect products in this video, we're going to talk about how this course is designed and then we're going to talk about the pdf resources you're gonna be using throughout this course And just like part one, this is an action-based course and that means you're not going to be sitting back and passively watching videos and just taking notes instead you're going to learn by doing and taking action and this is great because not only do we only learn when we do things ourselves, but you're also going to be working towards your goal of listening to products on amazon as you go through this course and in most of the videos inside this course we give you one task to complete. We walk you through step by step how to complete that task and then we have you pause the video and go complete the task yourself, Just like Part one. This course is broken down into three different levels On the top. You have the one course goal that you're going...
to accomplish by the time you finish part two and you can think of this as your North Star and then to make this big goal more approachable. We've broken it down into five smaller mini goals and each of these mini goals builds on the one before it, helping you progress towards accomplishing your big goal and then each mini goal is broken down into a collection of videos and all videos in this course are either active videos where we're giving you that one task to complete and then walking you through how to complete it. Or passive videos where you sit back, take some notes and just watch the video and the course goal that you're gonna be accomplishing. By the time you finish this course is you're going to choose the exact product you want to sell and then list it for sale on amazon. And that includes placing your first order from your supplier and having it shipped directly to amazon. And we've broken up that big course goal into five smaller mini goals and the five mini goals inside this course are number one, order 2 to 3 product samples. So this course picks up right where we left off with part one, which you ended by choosing the one product you want to import and finding the best two or three suppliers to import a sample of that product from. The first mini goal here is you actually placing those sample orders with the suppliers, You've already chosen. The second mini goal is for you to evaluate the quality of those products samples. And if you decide that yes, this product is high quality and you want to pursue it, you're gonna move on to the third mini goal and this is where you're going to create the bare bones listing for your amazon product and once you've done that, you're going to place your order and have it shipped directly from your supplier to amazon's warehouse. And finally, in the last minute goal, you're gonna fill out your product listing and complete it. So you're ready to start making sales right away. And as I mentioned before, every mini goal is just a collection of videos. And in those active videos you're gonna be giving one action step per video and we're gonna walk through it together and in past videos, all you have to do is pay attention and we recommend you take some notes. If you're a visual learner, this should help you out. As you can see on the top. There's only one course goal that you're gonna be working towards the entire time. You're inside our course. And that big course goal is broken up into five smaller mini goals. And then in each mini goal you'll find active and passive videos or just active videos. And as you can see there are mostly active videos inside this course, that's because we really want you to be hands on as much as possible. And if you remember back to part one, there were more passive videos in part one. But this part two is all about doing, you're gonna be taking action pretty much the entire time and we can't wait to help you move towards your goals. Now, I'm gonna walk you through the pdf resources that you're going to be using as you progress through our course. And the very first lecture of this course, you downloaded something called the resource folder and this is a zip file that carries all the pdf documents that you're gonna be using Insider course. When you open the sit file, you'll find two things, the resource packet and individual resources. And we've created 12 PDF resources for you. And in the resource pack it, we just combined those 12 pdf and put them all into one single file. And this makes it easy for you to keep all your information organized and in a single location. But in the last course we had a lot of feedback from students where when the pdf document was too big, they sometimes had trouble opening it. So if that ever is the case for you. We also included this folder where you can find all 12 of our PDF resources that's separated into individual files. So if you ever run into any trouble with the resource packet pdf, we recommend you try to find that individual pdf and just use that sheet instead for these PDFs. We recommend that you open them using the adobe reader, which is adobes official application to open up pdf documents. But some other options is if you're on a Mac, you can use the preview app which is built into your Mac and that's a great way to open these pdf resources and you can do that by right clicking it open with just make sure you select preview a third option you have for opening these pdf documents is to open them with google chrome. So I'm gonna open up this resource pack it with preview so you can take a look and when you open up the resource pack it on the second page, you'll find the table of contents And here are all of our 12 pdf resources in a single location. And if you want to jump to any single one Just click on it. So I'm gonna click on number 10 and it will take you directly to that PDF and then on the bottom left of every pdf, you'll see a button that says go to table of contents and that'll take you right back to the table of contents. So as you can imagine, this is going to help you so much having all this information packed into a single location and for example, if you want to jump to general sample questions, you'll see these blank areas where you can click and type directly on the pdf. And so there's so much we're going to be doing with these pdf documents and our goal with them is to automate as much of this process as possible of you getting your first product live and first sale on amazon in this video, we talked about how this course is designed and we also showed you those pdf resources that you're going to be using throughout the course in the next video. ErIC Rodney is going to talk to you about the importance of speed as you go through this process.
