Action - Use Our Product Comparison Sheet To Make Our Final Product Decision

in this video, we're going to use our product comparison sheet to make our final product decision. At this point we have two choices. We can either pick one of these products that we like the most and decide to commit to that product and import it. Or if we want, we can also scratch it, choose none of these products and started research from the beginning and I know that may sound terrible given all the work that you put into it. But if you really aren't excited about any of your products, it's much better to spend a couple more hours researching until you find a product that you're really interested in than to choose a product you're not that excited about and to invest a lot of money and time into it down the road for our case, we have three products, the double dog leash, the acrylic stapler and the belly casket. And one thing I want to make a note of before we start comparing them is these scores are designed to be relative to each other. And what that means is there's no rule that...

says if a basic score is less than 50, that means it's a bad product. And if it's over 50, that means it's a good product. That's not how this criteria is designed, what these scores tell us Is how attractive is one product compared to another. And just because a product has a higher score doesn't necessarily mean we have to go with that product, but it does give us a general idea about how likely that product is to be successful. If we were to choose it, but beyond the scores, we also have to consider our intuition, what does your gut tell us to go with? And also which product are we going to be the most excited about working with for the next couple of months out of these three products, one product I'm going to eliminate right away is the belly casket. I was not too excited about that product from the beginning and it also did not score well on the advanced score criteria and the basic score was not that high either. And for that reason, I'm left with two products to decide between. We have the double dog leash and the acrylic stapler. And as you can see they both score the same on the advanced score, but the basic score had a five point difference. So based on the points, the double dog leash is the best product, but I also want to consider what does my gut tell me. And which product am I more interested in personally? And with those things in mind, I still have to say I'm more interested in the double dog leash than the acrylic stapler. And to be honest, I had a feeling that I would like the double dog leash right from the beginning when I chose it. I was more excited about the idea of selling the double dog leash than I was about selling the acrylic stapler. And so it's nice to see that it also happened to score the highest points. Take your time with this decision process. In my case, the choice was pretty obvious, but yours might not be that obvious. It might be very close and you're not sure which way you're leaning if that's the case, it often helps to just take a break, sleep on it and see if the decision is more clear the next day. In this video, we use the product comparison sheet to make our final product decision. Congratulations. You have completed mini goal three and decided on one product imports. That's awesome. In the next video, we're going to get started with mini goal Four, which is to find the right supplier for your products. And our first task in that new mini goal is to find five potential suppliers, pause this video now and don't move on until you've used your product comparison sheet to make a final product decision.
