Action - Find Possible Product Improvements
in this video, we're going to use this information from people's product reviews and see if we can come up with any possible improvements that we can make for our product, once we have an idea on how we can make our product better, then we can talk to our supplier and either see if they can make that improvement themselves or talk to the manufacturer they work with to make that improvement. This is by no means a necessary step. But if we are able to find something that can make our product better than our competitors, it's gonna give us a huge advantage. I'm gonna start off by reading the positive things and this will give us ideas about what's important to make sure our product has and then we'll move on to the negative things and that's where we can really see if there's any possible improvements. The positive things that I saw people saying about the double dog leash was that it was easy to clip on and off. It adjusts easily to the height of their dog. It resisted tangling. It was s...
imple to use. And they really liked the swivel which prevented the leash from tangling when it came to the negative things that they were saying in their reviews. They said the leash was too small and doesn't separate the dogs far enough. It wasn't strong enough for big dogs, it was too big for smaller dogs. The material was cheap and the leash was slipping through the buckle, it was too big and heavy for small dogs and the least tears and the dogs run free. That would be a lot of things to improve upon. But after reading them, I noticed that too were way more common than all the others and the two biggest complaints where the leash would tear at a weak point and the dog would run free and the owner would freak out, worrying that their dog would get hurt or they had small dogs and they found the double dog leash to be too big and heavy to use with their small dogs. With this in mind, it gives me some ideas on how we can improve. The first thing we could do is talk to our supplier and see if there's a way to reinforce the material around the weak points to make sure that it doesn't tear and break a few months after the owner buys it. And when it comes to the small dog problem, we could either sell two different variations, one for bigger dogs and one for smaller dogs. Or another possibility might be to make cars specifically for small dogs and then advertise it in that way. In this video, we found possible product improvements for our product. Congratulations. You have finished mini goal five and completed your final research for your product. That's awesome. You have now completed the course in the next section. We'll go to our conclusion part of the course where we review everything you've done so far and then also talk about where you can get support as you move forward, pause this video right now and don't move on until you've looked to see if you can find any possible product improvements.
