Understand Amazon Seller Central
I'm gonna take you through a brief overview of amazon seller Central. So this is one of my test accounts that I've been using to create this course, but it's perfect because mine is a little bit more customized and this is exactly what you'll see once you get into the amazon seller central after create a new account. So amazon seller sessions, since it is pretty awesome because they keep changing here and there, they keep adding a little more things tweaks. I mean just the other day they just updated this and it looks so much better. Right? So this is your dashboard. The dashboard is actually super customizable, which is really awesome and you can throw your orders there over here wherever you really want and you'll be able to see a dashboard of everything here for you. They also do advertise for you, which is unfortunate, but amazon needs to make money. Um so you can see your balance over here, you can view your payment summary, manage your case, log, The case log is when you're conta...
cting support for something, there's notifications, headlines, really everything here on your dashboard and you can customize in any way you want from all the above tabs. You can also scroll down. Seymour check your customer feedback, change your views, you can rate this page whoever you want and on the bottom there's also some quick links to get anywhere you want for catalog inventory orders wherever you want and I recommend using these tabs when you don't really know where to go. These, these are the main links that people use but at the top is actually what you're gonna be playing with. So first you have catalog on the catalog away so you can add products or complete any drafts. You've started catalog is important because this is what you deal with. But then there's inventory. So under inventory you can manage inventory which is managing items. Your FDA inventory inventory and EPA inventory are a little different. But for our purposes they're going to be exactly the same thing. Then there's inventory plan. Inventory plan is pretty interesting because you can plan out your inventory. So the inventory you have for a certain period of time based on estimates and sales you've had in the past. You can also add a product or you manage your FBS shipments. And inventory inventory is where I spent a lot of my time orders under orders. You can manage your orders and manage your returns. Under these two different things. You can see your orders that have been placed and then any returns that you'll have to handle. The great thing is you really won't have to manage your returns because amazon FDA handles that all for you advertising. I looked at this and I was like oh that's a little weird but it's just because it only has the amazon early reviewer program. This account that I'm using right now is actually not an amazon sellers pro account. But if you have a pro account under advertising it show a couple of different things such as coupons and various other advertising methods. I use a lot of different advertising methods. So I spent a lot of my time here as well, amazon early reviewer program super interesting. And if you want some early reviews, I recommend using this. It costs a bit but you should get some awesome reviews next storefront, you can manage your store here. I don't really deal with this that much. You can look at your stores and manage your stores but I don't really deal with with that since I usually do like FDA and I don't, it doesn't really matter to me. I have a bunch of different accounts so I'm not really managing my stores reports. This is also super useful. You can check your payments, check your fulfillment records, return reports and your tax document library. I am using these reports all the time and generating reports. But I've been using a lot more third party apps recently because the reports look a lot better. But amazon is still right there and you can go through those reports and generate wherever you want. The next performance. This is where you'll see your account, health feedback return claims, chargeback claims Most of the time. I don't spend much time over here. The feedback is seller feedback and you can check if you're getting good feedback, bad feedback. But I don't really spend much of my time over in performance. It's important to keep these performance metrics good. So it keeps the rankings on your products high for most of the time you're gonna want to you want to manage inventory and adding in different products. But this is a pretty basic overview of seller central. I encourage you to go ahead and look around, explore and figure out what you need. But most of the time we're going through this and we're going to step by step together to add products, do some advertising, but just want to let you know that amazon seller central right here and you can use all your fingertips and change anything you want. And remember there's those quick links to the bottom and with this quick links you can click on them and go directly to them. It's basically the same thing to the top tabs, but it will show you right there if you anyways, that's an overview of seller central. If you need anything else, don't hesitate to reach out or look for it yourself. It's pretty intuitive. But if you ever need anything, you can easily search it or go through the different menus and find yourself
