Introduction and Welcome to this Course
Hi there and welcome to this class. I'm gonna teach you some audio recording basics. So my name is Thomas George. I'm an audio engineer, music producer and I've now created over 1000 videos online and I wanna share with you some tips and techniques for actually recording high quality audio at home. So in this class, we're gonna go through a number of different things. We're gonna start off by going through listening to your room and actually listening for ambient noise. We're then going to look at finding the best place and also the best time to record your videos. After this, we're going to look at treating your room and then we're going to look at selecting the best type of microphone for you. After this, we're going to look at audio interfaces and then look at mic positioning and accessories and then we're gonna look at my recording setup and then we're going to look at monitors and headphones.
