All About the Gallery Widget
how do you tap out fans and welcome back, let's talk about the gallery widget. The gallery widget is a fantastic way to showcase products with images with links to specific products. Products. Um and with descriptions to specific products and it's I use gallery which is all the time towards the end of funnels, or if a customer or if a user through a chat bot asks to see a specific line of items. And again, as you build out these chat funnels and you're and you're giving these branches your when a person says they want to see this product line, you put them into this chat funnel page. If a person wants to see a different product line, you give them a different personalized chat funnel page. And that's when you can start using galleries to show specific product recommendations that you want to push and it's even more powerful after a customer self identifies that they are in the market for that line of product. But let's just take a quick look at the gallery widget to see how it works. S...
o you open up the gallery widget and we need a picture, a title. You do not need a description. And then, you know, you are l to the item, you could also add buttons and add multiple items. So let's just go and we're gonna grab from our clients so far mania. We're gonna go over to the sofa section and let's just say, we're going to take a few of these as samples. So I'm going to save this image. You know, we'll do, we'll just do three for now let's save. And I'm gonna get their U. R. L. S. And first we'll start off with the Henry, mid century modern tufted linen sofa. I'm also gonna grab the U. R. L. Go back to mobile monkey at the U. R. L. In the U. R. L. Field at the title in the title field and upload a picture and you have the option to have it rectangular, square. I'm gonna leave it as rectangular and I have the option to crop it. What I do here, my mistake, drag it nice and carefully. You could reposition click crop and you're good to go. Um Now a person will be automatically able to just go to that link. You could also add a button that will bring a person to a phone number depending on how you're using the gallery feature. But in my case I'm not going to be adding a button because I'm going to allow users to navigate to the site using the product link itself. Now, let me add another item. Um Upload the picture, grab the U. R. L. And grab the title and I'm not adding descriptions but you can but just for the sake of saving time and not wasting anybody's time and paste in the title and I'm going to paste in the U. R. L. And I'm going to add an item. I'm gonna upload a picture, grab the U. R. L. Grab the title crop, center paste the U. R. L. And I have my gallery, right? So that was what it would take me a minute to create a nice gallery of three items. And you could add more items as well if you want to reposition or edit the crop, you could upload a new picture, you could remove the image. You could crop the image again by just hovering over the image in the gallery. Um And let's take a look at how this would work. Let's you know, let's add add a button to this last one just to show you how it looks. Um So we could do order over the phone right order by phone And we can put a default number in here. 800 mm hmm. And add the button. Okay? And let's take a look at how this would how this gallery chat would look in real time and facebook Messenger. By clicking testing this page and opening it up in Messenger. And as you can see here it looks fantastic. Right? I could um oh this is the second title didn't uh pop up. But over here we have the three items. If I click on any one of them, it will go to the right you are l so I'm gonna click and we'll go to the U. R. L. Right, great. That's the image that we had. And if I go here to the last one where I had that button. I could click order by phone and will open up facetime or on a mobile phone. It will prompt me to dial that number. So as you can see, the gallery item is like a really visual and interactive way to showcase your products directly within facebook manager. It's almost like a mini shopping experience. Um you could add buttons, add titles and descriptions, it's a really neat way and like I said in the beginning, this becomes the gallery widget becomes especially more powerful when you're using it after you've understood or after you've gathered information from the users, what they're in the market for or what sights of what sorts of products or services that you want to see and also don't make the mistake and think that the gallery widget is only for e commerce, there's a bunch of different creative ways, you could use it, you could have beautiful imagery to highlight certain types of services. Um so if you're an agency, you could say look at our social media management package, look at our bot builder package. Um and you could have, instead of a title, you can put a price and you could put a link to that service on your website, right? So you could get creative no matter what type of business you're in, you can get creative if you if you if you're thinking I'm thinking of like facebook carousel ads, right? If you guys, if you guys are familiar with facebook carousel ads, you have that ability to show striking bold imagery with a caption for each one. So you could tell a story with your gallery blocks as well. So it doesn't have to be just dry cut and dry e commerce links to products. There's a bunch of really creative things you can do with gallery items and I'm excited to see what you guys come up with. Um, but that is the gallery widget. Um, it's really useful. It's really cool and there's a lot you can do, and of course, don't forget the emojis. I didn't put emojis in there, but emojis are always great. There's, I can't overstate that enough. I will see you guys shortly in the next lecture.
